Jeff Garcia Signs With The Raiders
With six months to go before the season starts, the Raiders officially have a quarterback controversy. On Monday, April 6th veteran quarterback and Bay Area native Jeff Garcia signed with the Raiders for a one-year deal.
After playing journeyman for 10 seasons and traversing through the 49ers, Browns, Lions, Eagles, and Buccaneers, Garcia looks to spend his final years in Oakland.
While the Raiders organization continues to leave the training wheels on Jamarcus, Garcia’s readiness and historic efficiency where in the last three seasons, Garcia has thrown 35 TDs, 12 INTs, at a 64% completion rate, Garcia is ready to lead the Raiders now. Garcia gives the Raiders a legitimate shotor f an 8-win team. However, there’s no telling what ousting Jamarcus would do the young player’s psyche.

Garcia has been one of my favorite quarterbacks, since his start with the niners, and reproving himself with the late season heroics off the bench with the eagles. He is subtly confident, good in or out of the pocket, and a true fighter. He is a raider at heart, and great addition to our team. Al Davis certainly signed Garcia with the intention to light a fire under Jamarcus Russells ass, and to, perhaps, even start…bringing maturity, experience, and hope to a struggling offense. Without a doubt, this was a great move. Go raiders!!!!!
How do Garcia’s noodle arm characteristics match their first round pick of Heyward-Bey? He would have been a better fit with Crabtree, a more balanced WR that can hit big, but also can pick up first downs on 3rd when needed most.
hello raiders fans, from dallas fan…well finaly the match up,of Darren McFadden and Felix Jones..i’m coming to see this,,should be a great game,,,good luck
